The conclusion that I’ve come to is that in order for my business to be sustainable in the long term it also needs to be sustainable for the producer. That means that we actively engage our importers to make sure that it is ethically sourced, travel to origin to meet producers when we are able, once we’ve selected the coffee it’s roasted to order… frequently the same day that it’s roasted and we carefully evaluate our product to make sure that it’s the best it can be!
